Collect of the day
God of power,
in Christ you came to us as a servant;
the greatest became the least.
In a world which values privilege and power,
may we find the humble way,
putting others before ourselves,
sharing our resources
and witnessing to the life of the one who redeems.
Through Jesus Christ our Liberator,
who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.
Amen.
