Collect of the day
Listening God,
you show us mercy
and ask us what we need.
May we seek those things which increase our faith,
and further your reign on earth as in heaven,
so that we may follow you more closely.
Through Jesus Christ our Liberator,
who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.
