Prayer
For your prayer this week
In lockdown we give thanks for small mercies: for sunshine, for good governance, for well-stocked shelves, for daffodils announcing Spring during walks.
In lockdown we pray for the suffering: the sick, the stressed, the lonely, the overworked, the fearful, the addicted, the anxious.
In lockdown we pray for ourselves: may we re-balance and re-prioritise, may we find you in silence and rely on you in stress, may we explore new rhythms of prayer.
We pray for those we know who are sick or in need of our prayers.
We pray for those in Long Term Care.
Parish Cycle of Prayer:
We pray for our ecumenical neighbours; local businesses; and those who have no-one to pray for them.
Diocesan Cycle of Prayer:
We pray for the parish of Hororata. We pray for the NZ Bible Society, Scripture Union and kindred societies. We pray for Diocesan Synod 2-4 September.
