Prayer

For your prayer this week

Jesus, whose voice calms the storm, be with all who wrestle with anxiety as infection numbers increase, and public health restrictions continue.

Jesus, who walks on the water, be with all whose foundations seem to disappear from under them as they experience change in health, employment, and home.

Jesus, who hears the call of Bartimaeus and delights in responding, give us courage to seek help from you and others, and answer our prayers.

We pray for those we know who are sick or in need of our prayers.

We pray for those in Long Term Care.

Parish Cycle of Prayer:

We pray for our verger, study/home groups; all who live out their baptism in diverse ways in our parish and beyond; City Council workers and others who care for our local environment.

Diocesan Cycle of Prayer:

We pray for the parishes Methven and Mt Herbert. We pray for all involved in music and worship.

Anglican Elder Care Group Coordinator.
