Saints of Aotearoa
Jesus, Lord over all the earth, we thank you for the journey of the Gospel to Aotearoa. We thank you for all the saints, known and unknown, who have been involved in the great outworking of the Missio Dei here. We thank you in particular for Frederick Augustus Bennett, Mother Edith, Octavius Hadfield, Te Wera Hauraki, Churchill Julius, Kereopa and Te Manihera of Taranaki, Samuel Marsden, Mokomoko and Carl Sylvius Volkner, Ngakuku, Ruatara, George Augustus Selwyn, Wiremu Tamihana, Henare Wiremu Taratoa, Tarore of Waharoa, Piripi Taumataakura, Ihaia te Ahu, Heni Te Kiri Karamu, Tamihana Te Rauparaha, Wiremu Te Tauri, Te Whiti o Rongomai, Rota Waitoa, Henry Williams, Marianne Williams, and all who carry on their work today.
We pray for those we know who are sick or in need of our prayers.
