Giving to support the work of the Parish
We are all part of this church family – and like any household we have bills to pay – rates, insurance, compliance costs, power, internet, worship supplies etc...There are also wages for our administrator, cleaner and a stipend for the priest. Our income is made up of giving from parishioners, hall hire, rental income, fundraising and bequests. Giving is made up of donating time, talents and money – all of which are vital, however a resilient parish needs a strong financial base to survive.
Since the beginnings of this parish in 1865, a group of generous people have chosen to give to the church with the dream of seeing God’s family thrive here in Opawa-St Martins. God has used their faithfulness to change lives.
In fact, you’re surrounded by generous people at St Mark’s. When you give, you help create a church that connects people to one another and to Jesus. You help sow the seeds that lead people into having a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
You can give right now. Sign up to automatically give online weekly, monthly or whatever you choose. You control the gift and the amount but, most importantly, when you give you make our mission to further God’s kingdom in this place even stronger.
For those who already give, we thank you for your generosity and support.
