Prayer

For your prayer this week

With an eye on this week’s Gospel (Mk 13:1-8) we pray for discernment. In a world with a multiplicity of voices and perspectives, help us find truth, and put our trust in that which brings life. We pray for those experiencing the ‘birth pangs’ of the age. Be with Hong Kong and Taiwan as they experience rising tensions from China. Breathe peace in Ethiopia. Give providentially to the starving people of Syria, Yemen, Nigeria, South Sudan, southern Madagascar, and others.

We pray for those we know who are sick or in need of our prayers.

We pray for those in Long Term Care.

Parish Cycle of Prayer:

We pray for Anglican Elder Care groups – facilitators, participants & volunteers; local health centres in St. Martin’s; Opawa, Rudolph Steiner and St. Martin’s schools.

Diocesan Cycle of Prayer:

We pray for Pukaki Co-operating Parish. We pray for the Judiciary and Legal Profession; Archdeacons; and the work of Sunday Schools.

Anglican Elder Care Group Coordinator.
