May joy be our default

For your prayer this week

Lord, saturate us with your joy. Let it radiate from us. May joy be our default.

We pray not for mere ‘happiness', nor a saccharine facade, but a foundational joy that trusts in your redemptive love and unconditional forgiveness. Help us to hold onto joy, even amidst pain or turmoil, knowing that you are with us, and that you declare us ‘very good’. May we be emboldened knowing that “the joy of the Lord is our strength.” (Nehemiah 8:10)

We pray for those we know who are sick or in need of our prayers.

We pray for those in Long Term Care.
