Vaccine Passes at church
From the Office
Kia Ora
Here is your pewsheet for the week.
Vaccine Passes - Please remember to arrive at church EARLY this week, as it will take some time to check vaccine passes. The government have clarified their expectations for church gatherings, so double vaccination and an official vaccine pass is the requirement. We are aware that some passes will be arriving by the post, and may be delayed, so this week will have some grace in terms of method of proof.
Remember the TWILIGHT CHRISTMAS MARKET next Friday 10th December 5-8pm. St Martins Presbyterian Church, 43 St Martins Rd
This community event will be open to all outside, but covid passes will be required to enter the building (as per the settings under “orange” in the new traffic light system). Everyone will need to wear a mask.
We will need lots of baking please, Christmas gifts and decorations, china/glassware, DVDs.
Remember, NO clothes, shoes, white elephant or magazines. Enquiries to Anna or Barb.
Does anyone have a pop up gazebo we can borrow for the Twilight Market? See Anna W.
And lastly: Help the City Mission this Christmas – in a year like no other, we encourage you to bring along these items to stock the foodbank: cans of baked beans, spaghetti, soup and fruit, plus cereal, toothpaste, soap and sanitary items as well as a few Christmas treats eg pavlova, fruit mince pies. There’s also a toy store this year – please give generously. All donations must be received by by next Sunday the 12th Dec.
