Make us gracious and patient
For your prayer this week
Lord, amidst the hustle and bustle of end-of-year functions and Christmas shopping, help us to be still and remember this season’s primary call – to make space for you like the innkeeper, to prepare ourselves for you like Mary, to point to you like the Angels, and to worship you like the Shepherds.
Lord, be with this church and every church navigating the tension between protection and inclusion in worship. And make us gracious and patient with those with whom we disagree.
We pray for those we know who are sick or in need of our prayers.
We pray for those in Long Term Care.
