Vestry Snippets (Sep 24)
Highlights from September Vestry meeting:
Ven Mark Chamberlain, Archdeacon for Regeneration & Mission, was present to report back following our Mission Impact Review last year. We are encouraged to complete our Mission Action Plan, run a course to develop discipleship and consider appointing a discipleship enabler, undertake a stewardship programme, continue to develop our communication strategies and keep encouraging people to use their gifts.
It was noted that our 'soft' approach to increasing giving is working and Vestry gives thanks for all the ways people contribute to the life of the parish. The First Fridays morning tea following the school service is very successful.
Huge thanks to the Fair committee for running an excellent event. Vestry is to make a donation to City Mission towards dump fees.
Full Vestry minutes are available to read in a folder on the bookshelf in foyer.
